Thank You Duck

On behalf of everyone at Aberdare FC,

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible commitment and dedication as the head coach of our beloved club over the past four seasons.

 

Your unwavering passion and tireless efforts have taken our club to new heights,

achieving milestones that will be etched in our history forever.

Despite the challenges we faced, you led our team with remarkable resilience and skill.

guiding us to our highest division in club history.

 

The 2019/2020 season was particularly memorable, marred only yuhe cuvid-un atandemiction caused We will always cherish the unforgettable victories, such as the triumph over

Abercynon at home with a nail-biting score of 10-8, the awe inspiring comeback actin haltime to win W9%4, and the exhilarating victory against Abercwmboi away, prevailing with a score of 15-7.

 

Although the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 season's didn't go to plan due to the pandemic and other various reasons you still dug deep and carried on ready for the challenges in 2022/2023 season

 

However, it is your final season, 2022/2023, that will forever be etched in our memories.

 

The accomplishments we achieved under your guidance were nothing short of extraordinary.

Gaining promotion to Division 1 was a historic milestone for our club,

and we are immensely proud of our achievements.

 

Making it to the quarter-finals of the Silver Ball, runners-up in the WRU Division 2 Cup,

and ultimately emerging as champions of the Mid District Cup in your final game in charge

 

There were countless unforgettable games that showcased the team's determination and talent.

From the resounding 35-0 victory against Abercwmboi at home to the thrilling away victory secured with

the last play of the game, ending with a score of 30-24.

 

Additional standout victories included the remarkable

38-0 win against Treharris,

the hard-fought 13-0 victory over Talywain, the intense 15-12 triumph against Kidwelly in the semi final of the WRU Division 2 Cup, and the memorable victories over Abercynon in both cup competitions.

 

As we bid you farewell, we want to extend our deepest appreciation for pushing our club forward and instilling a winning mentality within our players.

 

Your dedication and tireless efforts have had a profound impact on everyone associated with Aberdare RFC, and the memories we have created under your tutelage will be cherished for years to come.

We would like to wish you and

your family all the very best for the future.
